MATCH DATES FOR FELLOWSHIPS BEGINNING IN 2026

The timeline for applicants and programs is outlined below.  This applies to fellowships beginning on July 1, 2026.  No offers will be made outside of the AACMFS Match system.

APPLICATION PERIOD

July 1, 2024 to June 1, 2025.  Applications must be submitted separately to each program.  Specific application materials may vary among programs; therefore applicants must contact the Program directly to obtain a list of required application documents.

INTERVIEW PERIOD

July 1, 2024 to June 1, 2025.  Interviews will be individually scheduled between fellowships and applicants. The interview may take place at the home facility of the fellowship, or in some circumstances at the discretion of the fellowship director may be conducted at a national or international meeting. The interview enables the fellowship director to “qualify” the applicant to register with the AACMFS Match. Candidates will not be allowed to register for the AACMFS Match if they have not been offered any interviews.

AACMFS MATCH RANK LIST SUBMISSION DATE

June 1, 2025.  Final rank lists from both applicants and program directors must be submitted by this date.  Once submitted, no changes are allowed. Submission must be confirmed with an email response from the coordinator to be valid.

AACMFS MATCH DAY

July 1, 2025.  Applicants and program directors will be notified via email regarding match results.
