Required application materials: CV, cover letter highlighting relevant experience and career goals, and 3 letters of recommendation

Eligibility requirements: Successful completion of CODA- accredited double degree (MD) OMF surgery residency program is strongly preferred, if trained internationally ECFMG certification, ability to work in the US or eligibility for appropriate visa sponsorship by BCH, hold or ability to obtain Massachusetts medical and/or dental license and Federal DEA license, verbal fluency in the English language.

Program description: Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is a stand-alone children’s hospital with 400 beds. Year after year BCH has been ranked by US World and News report as the #1 children’s hospital in the country. The department of plastic and oral surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital is a unique and cohesive group of oral and plastic surgeons that do more than 2,000 OR cases per year. There are 12 surgeons in the department – 4 OMFS and 8 plastic surgeons who work together in the care of patients with cleft and craniofacial deformities. The fellow will participate in cleft and craniofacial surgery, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery, and the treatment of vascular anomalies. Contribution to a scholarly project is encouraged.
